Finally, We’re Back in Business

April 10, 2009

in 2007-2010 Term

I’ve been meaning, since the previous post from November of 2007, to start blogging again. Now, with some changes to the website to better accommodate this, I’m back — just in time to celebrate the halfway point of the three-year term.

For the moment the updates will be occasional, but I intend to use this outlet to provide background and commentary for interested citizens about policies and issues before council, as well as my own thoughts on broader issues that affect Edmonton.

The 2007 campaign website is being archived and will be available for reference soon as part of this site.

I should note that this is a political website, and as such it is not connected with the City of Edmonton proper; further, no public funds were used to develop it.

Finally, a big thank you to my good friend Dan Lazin for slaving over a hot computer to get us up and running.

Looking forward to the commentary — and to commenting again so I can see this sweet full body pic to the left of the comment field!

Love the blog… can’t wait to hear the scoop from a councilors prospective.

I agree, this is great news! Also, kudos to Dan on the design as it looks fantastic. Tall, business Don supervising the comment box is sweet.
