It’s easy to take for granted that we have some of the best public education in the world right here, from kindergarten to post-secondary. It’s one of the primary reasons my wife and I chose to raise our family in Edmonton. This city’s educational strength is a competitive advantage we need to build on by encouraging a culture of learning at all ages. A smart population is key to our prosperity, but our economic development strategies need to improve the environment for start-ups and small business so we can keep talented people and their ideas working here.
